The first in our series of NO STRINGS ATTACHED workshops is for those who’ve always wanted to give playwriting a go! Are you unsure where to begin? Maybe you've got stuck along the way? This friendly, pressure-free session will give your toes a dip into the world of playwriting!

About the event
Led by Hannah Donelon, ahead of an upcoming tour of her script A Very Odd Birthday Party, this 90-minute Zoom workshop will be a welcoming and, most importantly, FUN space for beginners to explore and exercise different writing techniques. We’ll look at how to generate narrative ideas as well as building specific characters who’ll help drive your writing.
We also want to provide a space where we can answer any questions about Hawkseed, our work, and our process when working with new writing and writers, as well as a space for you to connect and network with the other artists.
This workshop is for people over 18.
We have 5 tickets priced at Pay What You Decide. These are aimed at people for whom finance is a barrier. Please only book a Pay What You Decide ticket if finance would prevent you from booking a £4 ticket. It will always be kept confidential who has booked which kind of ticket.
