No Strings Attached: Directing

We are BACK with the second in our series of NO STRINGS ATTACHED workshops. This time we are welcoming everyone who has always wanted to give directing a go but hasn’t known where to begin!

This friendly, pressure-free session will give your toes a little dip in the world of directing. Led by Anna Berentzen, off the back of Hawkseed’s successful tour of A Very Odd Birthday Party, this 90-minute Zoom workshop will be a welcoming and, most importantly, FUN space for any artist interested in exploring different ideas around directing. We’ll look at how to create a safe and productive rehearsal room, explore some of the prep work that goes into being a director, and also have space to dream big!

There will also be opportunities to ask Anna questions about Hawkseed, our work, and our process when working with new writing, as well as a space for you to connect and network with the other artists.

This workshop is for people over 18. We have 5 tickets priced at Pay What You Decide. These are aimed at people for whom finance is a barrier. Please only book a Pay What You Decide ticket if finance would prevent you from booking a £4 ticket. It will always be kept confidential who has booked which kind of ticket.
