An Actors' Playground

Discover your play! Join Hawkseed Theatre for a 2.5 hour intensive workshop aimed at performers wanting to reconnect with their sense of play and the radical joy of performing!

Feeling locked in since lockdown? Are you eager to stretch your performance muscles in a supportive space? This workshop will be led by the Artistic Directors of Hawkseed Theatre, Anna Berentzen and Hannah Donelon, ahead of their upcoming tour A Very Odd Birthday Party. A radical space to challenge yourself, trust your instincts, and explore different techniques to find that sense of play when approaching performance. Alongside practical exercises and exploration, we will be: looking at exclusive extracts of the new play A Very Odd Birthday Party; offering you a chance to ask us questions about Hawkseed and our work; and (really importantly) providing a space for you to connect and network with the other artists in the space. We want to form a community of artists who can inspire, challenge, and support one another. Join us to be part of this!

We have 5 tickets priced at Pay What You Decide. These are aimed at people for whom finance is a barrier. If you book one of these tickets, you may wish to donate what you can to our crowd funder - https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/hawkseedtheatre - but there is absolutely no pressure to do so. Please only book a Pay What You Decide ticket if finance would prevent you from booking a £5 ticket. On the day, it will be kept confidential who has booked which kind of ticket.
